We keep saying it'll all end bad,
Just wait our turn, we might get time to see.
You keep begging for one moment more,
Open the door, and lead us to our sin.
I see the lines on your own face,
Too many fights and screams to win the race,
Too many lies, you've brought it on yourself,
Cos I'm the best you've ever had.
So Lay me down,
I'll bring you to your knees,
Turns the lights out,
Cos I don't know, Cos I don't care!
We'll wait it out right to the end,
One last drop, Only one to spend.
Do the things that you want most,
Oh break the mould, See what you could hold.
We'll take it as our lesson learned,
Our lesser selves, they'll never know the truth.
We'll see us as we want to show,
But could we ever go back?
So Lay me down,
I'll bring you to your knees,
Turns the lights out,
Cos I don't know, Cos I don't care!
So lay me down,
You lost your broken crown so to speak.
Just lay me down,
And focus on the pain they put us through.
It's hard to pick a favourite track. This is the only album i have so far deemed as "perfect", where every track, even the intro, is just a masterpiece in its own right. From the hard hitting Perturbator's Theme to the emotional title track, its 68 minutes of perfection. 10/10. connivingkhajiit
